It's about time our beloved Kitten got an update, so here it is!

Update

Added a new Ca$h Tournament system where you can win real money just by scoring high!
Added custom MP3 Playback, recursively scans the /MUSIC and /PSP/MUSIC folders. Included is a Default.mp3
Switched to intraFont making text fonts much better
Upgraded to the SVN version of OSlibmod
Small tweaks regarding collision and physics
Uses Sony utilities for a smooth and seamless interface
Rotation of cannon barrel no longer resets after each launch
A lot of small tweaks and fixes I hadn't caught all those years ago...

Ca$h Tournaments are optional!

The ca$h tournaments are not forced upon you nor obstruct regular gameplay in anyway. Their existence is very subtle.

Ca$h Tournaments

Don't be fooled! This is the same old Kitten Cannon you all know and love, just this Kitten Cannon gives you an opportunity to earn real cash just by launching your cat far!

Everyone out there already knows Kitten Cannon has been the greatest form of animal cruelty to hit a gaming platform; Flash, PSP.

Everyone out there also knows just how much they'd want to make money by launching your cat the farthest.

Well, I am pleased to introduce a revolutionary new concept applied to homebrew that does just that!

Here's how it works...

You and other players would love to play my game for a chance to win money

You must buy-in to my tournaments by adding a small amount of money ($1.00) to the prize pool via credit card, PayPal, or completing free offers

Play the game as much as you want and submit as many scores as you want to try to get your high scores on top of the tournament leaderboards!

The tournament ends and the jackpot is distributed to all the winning players with 30% of everyone who entered walking away a winner

They send you a check in the mail or pay you electronically via PayPal

That's right - if you want to sit in bed all day every day launching countless kittens, go for it!

Each and every score counts. There is 'no' limit!

Here is a list of all the current active running tournaments I have for this game. You can always view this either in-game by going to the leaderboards (press 'start' then 'select) or view my entry dedicated to tournament listing.

The whole system is incredibly safe, secure and easy-to-use.

With 128-bit encrypted scores and thousands of false score indexes housing thousands more false indexes on top of real-time score moderation by myself, I can verify that every score is in fact legit.

And that is just on my side - over on their side they have many more routines ensuring each and every score is in fact genuine.

Notes

If you are having any trouble or problems, feel free to email me your problem and I will sort them out. There may be bugs in the system I was unable to test myself so it's important for the sanctity of all future and current tournaments that we sort these out.
If you are receiving a -1 memory error when trying to submit a score or view the leaderboards, it is due to a lack of memory because of any of plugins you are running. I do not have any plugins running in-game and I have no problems. I will release a new version that will unload all resources when initializing the browser to fix this, til' then take this into consideration for the time being.
REMINDER: You MUST buy-in to a tournament or else your score will be disqualified upon submitting it! After all it wouldn't be very fair if you only entered once you got a good score, now would it? ;-)
Due to the nature of cash tournaments, I please ask that if you know of 'any' suspicious activity going on in or around my tournaments I ask that you please tell me and let the big boys upstairs and myself take care of it.

Big thanks to InsertWittyName for all the help with the html viewer Sony utility. Stupid after all the trial and erroring with both OSlib and PGE methods I wound up going back to the SDK sample verbatim... (sorry Sakya the browser implementation in OSlib mod isn't working properly!)
